　　The gardens at Rode Hall were created by three different landscape designers，including Humphrey Repton，over the period from 1750 to 1860，and include lakes and a two­acre walled kitchen garden.An Italian garden is currently being created amidst the ruins of the old Tenants Hall.In winter，the rock garden is covered in snowdrops and other winter­flowering bulbs，which are succeeded by daffodils(水仙花) as winter turns into spring.There is a fine ice house and the hall is also open to visitors on Wednesdays.

　　Open all winter (except Christmas and Boxing Day)，this 158­acre restored 18th century Georgian landscape garden boasts follies(装饰性建筑)，a lake and spectacular views across Surrey’s rolling countryside.Other features include a unique crystal grotto(岩洞)，ruins of a Gothic abbey，a Gothic Temple，Turkish Tent and Victorian Gothic tower.In winter，displays of bulbs，including snowdrops，combine with grasses and a national collection of North American trees and shrubs to produce a winter landscape full of color and interest.
