　　No more movies！？

　　YES！More movies!

　　You have helped us upgrade our projector system to digital!

　　By the end of 2017，we will no longer be able to show film movies at the Kent Theatre!

　　Due to changes in the industry，movie distributors will no longer provide film versions of any movies.Only digital versions will be available.

　　That means the 1,200＋adults and children who come to see a movie each month at the Kent Theatre will have nothing to see，except a blank white screen.

　　Unless we replace our projection system，we’ll have to cancel the “movie reward” program developed with our schools and local library that was designed to encourage kids to read by giving them a free trip to the theatre and movie based on reaching reading goals.

　　However，replacing our projection system creates a huge problem for a non­profit institute like the Kent Theatre.While the new system will save volunteers’ time，reduce per­movie costs，and have less impact on the environment (no trucks for shipping and no shipping fees)，the investment is huge.

　　We have to replace our film projector with an entirely new

　　60,000 digital projection and sound system!

　　We’ve already raised

　　20,000 towards our 60,000 goal.We still have a long way to go，so we need your help！Every tax­free gift of 10，25，or 50 will help us keep showing movies for 3 per person and allow us to keep serving the community.
