　　I’m sorry to know that you’re having difficulty learning English in senior school. I can understand how it feels. Now, I’d like to share with you my secret of successful English learning.

　　First of all, ask yourself seriously “What am I learning English for?” Only highly- motivated students will hold a right attitude to English learning and will be enthusiastic learners, ready to do listening, speaking, reading and writing regularly, and above all, will enjoy doing these things systematically.

　　Then come effective learning methods. Based on my learning experience, listening has brought me enormous benefits. By being exposed to different accents, I’ve developed an ear for the exact words and phrases people use. Through listening, I’ve established a large vocabulary, which greatly helps strengthen my confidence in speaking and writing. Besides, reading English newspapers on a regular basis has brought about dramatic improvement in English learning. I’m not only well informed of what’s going on in and outside China, but my interest in English is maintained.
