　　M: Honey, you can’t wear that skirt. It’s much too short! What will your classmates think?

　　W: You don’t understand fashion. It’s what everyone is wearing. Besides, I think it is pleasant to look at.

　　M: It doesn’t suit ordinary people like us. Your mum is sure to say that the skirt is far too short.

　　W: But it’s really in high fashion; everyone is wearing clothes like this in my school.

　　M: Not everyone. Your friend Amy would never wear a skirt like that!

　　W: Look at the photo. It was taken yesterday at the gate of our school. Amy’s skirt is the same as mine.

　　M: Well, I’m all ready to go. I hope you’ll come to visit me if you have time.

　　W: I’ll try! Good luck with everything. I’m sure you’ll be a great English teacher.

　　M: Thanks. I’ll do my best. I’m really looking forward to the new job, and to learning about Chinese culture. The college I’ll work in is a language university, so I think I will make friends from all over the world, the Chinese the Koreans, the Australians. I’m really excited about that.

　　W: That’s so great! Well, have you thought about how to spend this Christmas?
