Chinese arts travel the world

The venue of the exhibition is no accident because the venerable 130-year-old art academy has an affinity for Chinese culture.

In 2017, it hosted the exhibition Colors of Dunhuang during the Year of Chinese Culture in Turkey. It recently established a new department of Chinese language and literature.

The author, Harvey Dzodin, is a senior adviser to Tsinghua University and former director and vice-president of ABC Television in New York.
