WASHINGTON, June 1 -- Forward Kevin Durant of the Golden State Warriors will possibly return midway through Finals, local media reported on Saturday.
The Warriors lost in Game 1 of the Finals and Durant already missed six straight games with a right calf strain since the team's Game 5 against the Houston Rockets in the West Conference semifinals.
Durant will be sidelined for the Finals' Game 2, which will be held on Sunday, but there is some optimism within the organization that Durant could play in Game 3 or Game 4, according to local media.
Games 3 and 4 of the Finals will be in Oakland, with Game 3 on June 5 and Game 4 on June 7.
