HANOI, July 20 -- China whitewashed Thailand 3-0 on Saturday, entering the final of the ongoing third Asian women's U23 volleyball championship.
Defeating Thailand 25-14, 25-21 and 25-21 in 85 minutes, China secured its six-match unbeatable streak at the championship which will conclude on Sunday in Vietnam's capital Hanoi.

Earlier, China crushed Vietnam 3-1, and steamrolled China's Hong Kong, New Zealand, India and Chinese Taipei with the same final score of 3-0.
In another semifinals also on Saturday, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea downed Vietnam 3-1 (18-25, 25-20, 26-24, 25-21) in more than two hours.
