　　W: Excuse me. Where is the nearest post office? I need to mail a package to my business partner.

　　M: I’m not sure. I’m a tourist here, so I am not too familiar with the area.

　　Text2:

　　W: Excuse me. I’m meeting a friend who’s arriving on the 10:45 train from Mumbai. Can you tell me if it’s on time, please?

　　M: It will be 10 minutes late.

　　Text3:

　　M: Did you say you were driving to town this morning?

　　W: I’d planned to drive there, but in the end, I decided to cycle there instead with David. It’s much more convenient than taking a bus.

　　Text 4:

　　M: When you send your email to your Turkish pen friend, do you write it in Turkish?

　　W: No, although I come from France, now I’m in Brazil. And we both want to practice our English.

　　Text 5:

　　W: Can I help you, sir?

　　M: I’d like to buy a black T-shirt, with short sleeves, please.

　　W: I’m afraid the black ones have long sleeves, but we’ve got short sleeves in blue and yellow.

　　M: OK. I’ll take the blue one. The color is not so important really.

　　Text 6:

　　W: David, do you often help your brother with his maths at home?

　　M: Yes. Tim isn’t very good at maths. But he does very well in chemistry.
