MONTEVIDEO, Nov. 8 -- Barcelona striker Luis Suarez, Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani and Internazionale defender Diego Godin returned to Uruguay's squad on Friday for friendlies against Hungary and Argentina.
The trio missed the Celeste's back-to-back friendlies against Peru last month because of physical problems but have since returned to action for their respective clubs.
Head coach Oscar Tabarez also included Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde and Girona striker Cristhian Stuani in his 22-man squad, published on the Uruguayan Football Association's official website.
Flamengo playmaker Giorgian de Arrascaeta and Fiorentina defender Martin Caceres were absent because of soft-tissue injuries while Almeria striker Darwin Nunes was left out despite scoring on his international debut against Peru.
Uruguay face Hungary in Budapest on November 15 and Argentina in Tel Aviv three days later. The matches will be the last opportunity for Tabarez to test his players before the the South American zone's 2022 World Cup qualifying tournament starts next March.
