WASHINGTON, Dec. 22 -- A game-high 97 points in the last jump saw Alexander Hall win the FIS freeski big air World Cup in Atalanta on Saturday as the American claimed the title with 187.50 in total.
Hall's final jump helped him edge Frenchman Antoine Adelisse by just one point.
Teal Harle, runner-up in the previous stop in Shougang last week, finished third with 185.25 points.
Birk Ruud of Norway, who ranked fourth in Atalanta, continued his dominance in Cup standings with 230 points in total.
In women's competitions, Switzerland's Mathilde Gremaud beat her teammate Giulia Tanno with 180.75 points, and Britain's Isabel Atkin finished third.
