The lad goes to hunt;

His shay runs amain.

The lad keeps prying front.

The tetrad dance the rein;

He searches the marshland,

And there he makes a fire.

He kills a tiger by hand

And sends it to the sire.

My dear, stop doing so

A tiger may hurt you.

His steeds sheen yellow.

The mid ones leap front;

The side ones fast follow.

He’s a great shooting hand,

His driving skill is higher.

He may keep the horse still

And let them run at will.

The two mid ones bound front

The side ones look superb.

He searches the marshland,

The steeds now slow down and

Few arrows he’ll require.

He lets the last shaft go

And then draws back his bow
