体坛英语资讯：CLS side Chongqing sign Brazilian forward Marcelo Cirino
CHONGQING, Jan. 16 -- Chongqing Lifan have signed Brazilian forward Marcelo Cirino da Silva for the upcoming season, the Chinese Super League (CSL) club announced on Wednesday.
Marcelo, who turns 28 next Wednesday, made his debut as a professional player at Atletico Paranaense in 2009. He also had spells at Flamengo and Internacional.
Marcelo rejoined Athletico-PR in 2018 and scored nine goals in 29 Brazilian Serie A championship appearances during the 2019 season.
Chongqing finished 10th of the 16-team CSL league last season.
