开平碉楼导游词

开平碉楼种类繁多，若从建筑材料来分，可以分为石楼、夯土楼、砖楼、混凝土楼。按使用功能可以分为众楼、居楼、更楼三种类型。

Kaiping blockhouse has many kinds. If we divide it into stone building, rammed earth building, brick building and concrete building. According to the use function, it can be divided into three types: multi building, residential building and building renovation.

开平碉楼建筑很有特点。

它造型别致，中西合璧。开平碉楼的上部造型最具表现力，人们着力运用外国建筑中的穹顶、山花、柱式等建筑元素大做文章，形成了千楼千面的建筑式样。 

It has a unique shape and combines Chinese with western. The upper part of Kaiping blockhouse is the most expressive. People make great efforts to use the architectural elements such as dome, mountain flower and column style in foreign architecture to form a thousand buildings and thousands of faces.  

它有很强的防卫能力。开平碉楼为多层建筑，远远高于一般的民居，便于居高临下地防御；碉楼的墙体比普通的民居厚实坚固，不怕匪盗凿墙或火攻；碉楼的窗户比民居开口小，都有铁栅和窗扇，外设铁板窗门。碉楼上部的四角，一般都建有突出悬挑的全封闭或半封闭的角堡。角堡内开设了向前和向下的射击孔，可以居高临下地还击进村之敌；同时，碉楼各层墙上开设有射击孔，增加了楼内居民的攻击点。
