I was fascinated by science fiction movies when I was a kid, so when I got this book, I read it like a treasure. After I roamed the mysterious world that I have been yearning for for for a long time, the mysteries in my heart were solved one by one. I not only have a deep understanding of the background, production and social effects of science fiction films, but also a surprising fact: Although there are hundreds of thousands of "science fiction fans" in China, there are less than ten people engaged in science fiction films and TV programs, and the annual production of science fiction films is less than one. There are 12 sci-fi movies in total, ten of which are translated. The history of science fiction creation is also extremely short, which disappeared from the 1970s to the early 80s. Compared with the reality that tens of thousands of Western sci-fi producers produce dozens of sci-fi films per year, it's really a drop in the bucket and makes people feel shabby.
