The cloud drifted in the sky. Occasionally when passing the pond, it saw the lotus, and the lotus also saw it. At the moment when their eyes are opposite, they love each other. 云更痛苦着，相爱而不能拥有的痛苦如蚂蚁日夜啮食着它的心。它为此心神憔悴。终于有一天云请求雷电把自己撕成碎片，那样可以变成雨，去亲吻它的爱人---莲。雷电说：“你能忍受的了撕裂的痛苦吗？那样你会魂飞魄散，永无超升之时！现在后悔还来的及！”云说：“思念的痛苦比撕裂的剧痛更强烈。我愿意！”雷电无语。
