The story of Weimar City
The friendship between Goethe and Schiller is a legend that can shine through half of the history of European literature. The older mature Goethe gave Schiller a stable care, while the younger and excited Schiller gave Goethe a new creative enthusiasm, so "Faust" jumped out of the water, its flame through the darkness of history lit up today's sky.
Without meeting, knowing and complementing each other in Weimar City, Goethe may still be limited to trivial government affairs, and Schiller may have disappeared in front of the embarrassed life. I can't imagine how dark the cultural stars of the 19th century would have been without them. What's more, if they go astray - after all, there is no lack of competition between genius and genius - how will history look like.
