Why should we affirm popular culture? I think any culture is a reflection of the social psychology and aesthetic requirements of the contemporary people. For example, the popularity of martial arts novels reflects people's ideal of "Chivalry" in the era of indifferent speed; in the crazy worship of idols, it reflects the pursuit and yearning for beauty with the improvement of people's quality of life; in the advertising of world famous music, it also shows the recognition of the influence of elegant music. Maybe you don't think much of these cultures. You think that "guzheng" and "Pipa" are more elegant than guitar, world famous works are more profound than romance novels, and the sacrifice of soldiers is more noble than idols. It is true that there is nothing wrong with all of these. Bravery today is the 21st century. It is the premise for China to integrate into the world to conform to the trend of the times and keep up with the pace of world informatization. Yes, pop culture is not as classic as traditional culture, but it is wrong to deny pop culture. We must accept the existence of popular culture and affirm its significance.

武侠小说中的刀光剑影颇为暴力血腥，但其中的“侠”精神我们应发扬。其实我本人也是武侠迷，我以为金庸小说这样惩恶扬善，坚毅不屈，很能感染青少年不时奋进，行善帮弱。
