GUANAJUATO, Mexico, April 22 -- The Chinese duo Wu Minxia/He Zi finished their diving season perfectly here on Friday, winning their fourth consecutive gold medal in women's 3-meter springboard synchronized in the fourth and last leg of the 2011 FINA World Diving Series.
In the previous legs held in Moscow, Beijing and Sheffield, England, the Chinese pair also stood on the top podium.
Wu, double Olympic champion in the synchronized springboard event, and her young partner He Zi, received 332.70 points for their six dives. They finished ahead of the Canadian pair of Jennifer Abel and Emilie Heymans, who received the silver medal with 306.30 points.
The Russian duo Anastasia Pozdniakova/Svetlana Phillippova took the bronze.
The 2011 FINA World Diving Series event in Mexico runs until Saturday and has featured 69 divers from 13 countries and regions.
