Cologne smoothed the way for Dortmund's title owing a 2-0 win over chaser Leverkusen. Cologne striker Milivoje Novakovic flabbergasted 2nd positioned Leverkusen when he made the game safe with two goals within second half.

Cologne remains on 14th position with 38 points meanwhile Leverkusen occupies 2nd position along 64 points.

Defending champions Bayern Munich humiliated Schalke with a magnificent performance especially by youngster striker Thomas Mueller. With only six minutes into the match, midfielder Arjen Robben netted the opened to smooth the way for the victory.

Two minutes later, Bayern defender Holger Badstuber levelled the score for Schalke through an own goal. With 13 minutes into the match Thomas Mueller gave his side the lead after Schalke failed to clear the ball from goal area.

Six minutes before final, whistle youngster Thomas Mueller sealed his brace to mark the final 4-1 score perfect. Bayern jumped on 3rd position along 59 points to fulfil their minimum aim, UEFA Champions League qualification whilst Schalke stays on 10th position with 40 points.

Third positioned Hannover suffered a bitter setback as they lost 0-1 to 17th positioned Monchengladbach. "Gladbachs" youngster midfielder Marco Reus marked the winner at the 76th minute to seal three important points. Hannover slipped from 3rd to 4th with 57 points while Monchengladbach remains on 17th position along 32 points.
