BUDAPEST, July 10 -- Top seed Roberta Vinci survived a second set scare to beat Irina-Camelia Begu of Romania 6-4, 1-6, 6-4 in the final of the 200,000 U.S. dollars Poli-Farbe Budapest Grand Prix women's tennis tournament on Sunday.
The experienced Italian, ranked 25th in the world, won the first set 6-4 in a see-saw set which included five breaks of serves, but the 20 year-old Rumanian turned the game around in the second set breaking Vinci's serve three times to force the game into a final set.

Begu went 4-3 up in the third set but the experienced Vinci, 28, dug deep into her reserves to win the next three games and claim her sixth WTA title as well as the 37,000 dollars first prize.
After the match. Vinci thanked the public for the support during the tournament and said the tournament, which took place during a heat-wave in Budapest was "tiring" but "a great tournament".
Begu, ranked 77th in the world and yet to win a WTA title, said that she felt very close to victory after the second set.
"Roberta is a very good player though, who fought extremely hard for the win so I congratulate her. I'm very tired but happy to have reached the final and achieve my highest ever world ranking," said Begu.
