BAKU, Oct. 8 -- Chinese star boxer Shiming Zou won the gold medal in the men's 49kg division at the AIBA world championship here on Saturday.
Zou defeated South Korean Jong Shin 20-11 in the final to claim the crown for the third straight time.
Ukrainian boxers showed phenomenal results in Baku with victory in four weight categories. Cuba won two gold medals, and Azerbaijan, Brazil, Russia and China won one gold medal apiece.
A total of 570 boxers from 113 countries and regions took part in competition in 10 weight categories.
