ANKARA, Oct. 13 -- China's Su Baocheng won the first place in men's Qiangshu, or spearplay, at the 11th World Wushu Championships (WWC) held in Turkish capital Ankara, the WWC organizing committee announced on Thursday.
Su recorded the highest mark of 9.80 points among 44 competitors. The full mark is 10.
As a two-time gold medal winner in both domestic and abroad big events, Wu told Xinhua after the competition that his performance this time was normal.
The 27-year-old Su said that he has practised martial arts for 18 years thanks to the nurture of his hometown Shandong Province, an eastern China province with thick Kongfu atmosphere.
