　　这是中国考生的典型问题，很多考生词汇量非常大，但对单词的具体用法不甚了解，结果往往导致单词使用不当。比如，当写作文要用到转变一词时，很多考生想到不用change而是用其他词替换它，期望获得更高分数,于是他们想到单词transform,和shift，但实际上transform的英文解释为 to change completely in form, appearance, or nature, 而 shift 的英文解释为 to change in position or direction; move from one place to another. 虽然transform 和 shift都有转变之意，但侧重点不同，用法也就和change 不同。若盲目用他们代替change就会导致单词使用不当，影响文章理解从而影响得分。建议考生在背单词时注意看单词的英文解释。
