九、虚拟语气的倒装：

　　1. 省略if：had, were, should提前

　　1)..Had I known it earlier, I wouldnt have lent him the money.

　　2). Had you come yesterday, you would have seen him.

　　3). Had he time, he would come.

　　4). Were there no air and water, there would he no life in the world.

　　5). Were it not for your help, I wouldnt have got what I have today.

　　6). Were I in your position, I couldnt catch up with him

　　7). Were there anything to tell, I would tell it to you.

　　8). Were I you, I should not take this job.

　　9). Should anybody call me, tell him to leave a message.

　　10). Should he act like that again, he would be punished.

　　11). Should it rain tomorrow, we would have to put off the visit to the Yangpu bridge.

　　2. 省略whether

　　1). Whether he be rich or poor, I will marry him. (可省略whether, 此时要到装：Be he rich or poor, ...)

　　2). Whether it be new or old, it is my bike. (= Be it new or old, it is my bike.)

　　3). Be he friend or foe, the law regards him as criminal. (=Whether he be friend or foe, )

　　4). Any substance is made of atoms, be it metal or wood. (, whether it be metal or wood. )

　　5). Be they common people or high-ranking officials(高官) they stand equal before the law.
