高中英语语法-比较情态动词must, can/ could, may/ might 用法_高考语法

　　　　出席舞会可能是令人兴奋的。

　　　　Michael cant be a policeman，for hes much too short.

　　　　迈克不可能是警察，因为他太矮了。

　　　　③ may/ might 通常用于肯定或否定陈述句中。当表示某事可能发生时，可用could，may，might .如：

　　　　 Are you coming to Jeffs party？

　　　　你来参加杰夫的晚会吗？

　　　　 Im not sure. I may/ might go to the concert instead.

　　　　不太确定，我有可能去参加音乐会。

　　　　二、 could/ can，may.

　　　　might 表示请求、建议、许诺、能力等。could/may 用于表示委婉地提出请求或允许，给予请求的答复用 can/may . could/might 也可以表示许可，语气比 can/may 委婉，表示的可能性较小。如

　　　　 Could I call you by your first name？

　　　　我可以叫你的第一个名字吗？

　　　　 Yes，you may/can.

　　　　是的，可以。

　　　　三、 may/might have + 过去分词表示（过去）可能做某事，但实际上并没有做。 May 用于对于到目前为止的情况推测， might 则用于表示对过去情况的推测，但把握性都不大。如：

　　　　He might have given you some，even though he was very busy.
