Being polite show your respect to others so that they are likely to build relations with you. Always saying polite words will make others feel comfortable and repected, then when you need help they are willing to give you a hand. Moreover, using polite words can bring you friends who has the same character with you,as the old saying goes Birds of a feather flock together. The people around you may build a better you.
