　　情景会话：

　　A: Good afternoon, sir.

　　先生，下午好!

　　B: Good afternoon. My name is John Smith. I have an appointment with Mr. Brown.

　　下午好。我是约翰史密斯。我和布朗先生有个约会。

　　A: Ah, yes. Your appointment is at 4:15. Can you wait a moment, please?

　　是的。你的预约时间是4点15分。请稍等一下，好吗?

　　B: Yes, of course. Thanks.

　　好的，谢谢!

　　用法说明：

　　在国外工作节奏都比较快，所以有事商谈需要预约，与某人预先约定叫to make an appointment with somebody或者to fix an appointment with somebody; 守约是to keep ones appointment; 取消约会是to cancel an appointment;失约是to break the appointment。
