本课您将学到:come close to Ving句型(差一点就),like(像?
Half of Britains office workers say they have come close to punching(用拳猛击) a colleague(同事). Overwork, faulty(有缺点的) computers and annoying(令人厌烦的) workmates(同事) were the main cause of office rage and women are more likely to snap than men.
Three quarters of workers felt they worked less productively(有效果地、有成果地) in a bad mood(心境、情绪). Some 15 percent said fear of(害怕) making a mistake when their boss was angry made them work more slowly.
Employees can cut tension(精神上的紧张) by avoiding gossip(流言), talking to managers and not disturbing(妨碍) colleagues. Bosses should defuse(拆去) conflicts(分歧) early, listen to staff complaints, avoid(避免) overcrowding(过度挤压) and set realistic workloads(工作量) and deadlines(最后期限).
(Half of Britains office workers say they have come close to punching a colleague)造成这种办公室狂暴症(office rage)的原因主要是超时工作,电脑坏了或者同事不易相处,而且女性比男性更容易突然暴怒。(women are more likely to snap than men)
(felt they worked less productively in a bad mood)约有15%的被访者说(15 percent said)害怕在老板发脾气时出错(fear of making a mistake when their boss was angry),会令自己工作效率更低。(made them work more slowly)
雇员们要削减紧张情绪,(Employees can cut tension)应该避免说三道四,(by avoiding gossip)有问题直接与上司说,(by talking to managers)不要妨碍同事的工作。(and by not disturbing colleagues)
(and set realistic workloads and deadlines)
However, he has come close to getting marriage, the bride was infected with SARS out of the blue.
I came so close to finishing the game and the stupid power went off.
They come close to victory at tournament.
Like做介词,意思是similar in some way to something else,即和很像,比如:My mother has a car like yours.
John is likely to be in London this autumn.
They gave unlike accounts of the incident.
当like做动词时,就有喜欢的意思,你可以喜欢一样东西,比如:I like your dress. He likes her so much that he cannot help but follow her.
I dislike having to get up early.
