　　M: Well, for several years, Imanaged a department for the Brownstone Company in Detroit,Michigan. Now Iwork part time because I also go to school at night. Im getting abusinessdegree.

　　W: Oh, how interesting. Tellme, why do you want to leave your present job?

　　M: Ill finish school in afew months, and Id like a full-time position with more responsibility.

　　W: And why would you like towork for our company?

　　M: Because I know yourcompanys work and I like it.

　　W: Could you please tell meabout your special skills and interests?

　　M: Of course, Im good atcomputers and I can speak Spanish. I used to take classes inSpanish at thelocal college. And I like travelling a lot.

　　W: Can you give me anyreferences?

　　M: Yes, certainly. You cantalk to Mr. McCaw, my boss, at the Brownstone Company. I couldalso give youthe names and numbers of several of my teachers.

　　W: All right, Mr. Jones, andwould you like to ask me any questions?

　　M: Yes, I wonder when Ill beinformed about my application for the job.

　　W: Well, well let you knowas soon as possible. Lets stay in touch. Thank you very muchfor coming thisafternoon.
