Both sides had difficulty in holding serve games in the following games, the pair broke each other's serve games to level the match 6-6. In the tiebreak, Djokovic played top-level defense to defeat Cilic by 7-4, cementing the victory 6-2, 7-6(4).

In today's earliest match, Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan needed 50 minutes to beat Andy Roddick and Mark Knowles to grab the men's double title. Their rivals didn't do much to stop them, and the twins finished the match 6-4, 6-2.
