5、one's old lady 老娘，某人的母亲

此处的old并不表示“老，年纪大”，与an old lady“老太太”不同。Her old lady is very young.（她老娘很年轻。）这样的说法很自然。但有时可能有人不喜欢，所以使用时要注意场合。在谈到自己的母亲时，可以加定冠词，作the old lady。The old lady has gone to bed.（俺娘已经睡下了。）
