A big forest fire broke out in the forest in the southwest of America at the end of November of 1992. The fire was caused　by a young worker's smoking cigarettes. Thousands of firemen　and local people tried to put out the fire, but they couldn't put　it out in a short time. The fire lasted more than three weeks

　　and was finally put out.

　　In the fire nine people died and about eighty people were　njured. It caused a loss of at least twenty million US dollars.

　　The fire shocked the whole country.
