　　(1)as引导非限制性定语从句，表示说话人对某事的态度或评论，有“正如……，正像……”之意(which则没有这样的意思)，从句可放在主句之前，也可置于主句之后，as的常见固定搭配有：as be said/known/explained/expected/pointed out/imagined/announced/shown/reported...。

　　Mary was late for school again，as had been expected.

　　玛丽上学又迟到了，正像大家预料的那样。

　　As was reported，a terrible flood hit that country last night.

　　正如报道所说的，昨天晚上那个国家遭遇了可怕的洪水。

　　(2)more...than...

　　与其说……倒不如说……。

　　He is more frightened than hurt.

　　与其说他受伤了倒不如说他被吓着了。

　　He is more a poet than a professor.

　　与其说他是教授，不如说他是诗人。
