as though / if和even if / though

　　as though / if “似乎；好像”，引导方式状语从句，也可引导表语从句，从句中的谓语动词常用虚拟语气。

　　If a pen is partly put into the water it looks as if it were broken. 如果铅笔的一部分放在水里，看上去像断了。

　　even if / though “即使；虽然”，引导让步状语从句。

　　He won't give up the experiment even if he has failed many times. 尽管失败了许多次，他也不会放弃这个实验。
