　　“as＋形容词＋as”的结构是用来比较说明前后两者在某方面相同。如：

　　①I think the temperature today is as high as it was yesterday.

　　我觉得今天气温与昨天的一样高。

　　②Look, a man whose face is as black as coal is coming towards us.

　　看，一个脸似煤炭般黑的人朝我们走过来了。

　　●用法拓展

　　这种结构有时也可以和形容词与名词连用，其中的形容词必须放在冠词之前，形成“as＋形容词＋a/an＋名词＋as”的结构。

　　①He is as gentle a man as his father.

　　他与他父亲一样和蔼。

　　②It is as clear a day as it was yesterday.

　　今天的天气与昨天的一样晴朗。

　　2．So I'd like to suggest that the seats at the back be placed higher than those at the front so that everyone can see the screen easily.

　　所以我建议后排的座位应该比前排的高，这样每个人都能很容易地看到银幕。

　　so that可以引起目的状语从句(此时从句中常有can, may, might, could, be able to等)，也可引导结果状语从句，so that前常用逗号隔开。如：

　　①He spoke through a microphone so that the people at the back can hear him.
