　　when作“在这/那时”解，含有“突然”之意。此时when作并列连词，前一分句多用过去将来时或过去进行时，when后的分句用过去时，句式为：

　　我正要出去，这时电话响了。

　　I had just gone to bed when I heard a loud noise.

　　我刚刚上床睡觉，这时听到一声巨响。
