　　Insist 表示坚持某人该如何做，只有此意时才用（should）do结构。Insist表示强调事实或经验看法等；其宾语从句的谓语动词的形式与主句的谓语动词形式保持一致。

　　I suggest we have dinner first ,and then watch the film.

　　我建议我们先吃晚饭，而后看电影。

　　Are you seriously suggesting she did this on purpose?

　　说正经的，你的意思是她故意这样做的？

　　I insisted that it was an accident.

　　我坚持认为那是意外事情。

　　【点拨】

　　建议某事；suggest sth.

　　建议(某人)做某事； suggest(one’s)doing sth.

　　从句谓语用should do 形式，should 可省略。

　　Suggest 作表明，提示讲时，多跟从句，从句用陈述语态。

　　I suggest a visit to the theatre.

　　我建议去看戏。

　　My uncle suggested (my) getting a job in a bank.

　　我叔叔建议我在银行找个工作。

　　Presently he made the suggestion that they carry on their conversation in French.

　　不久他建议他们继续用法语交谈。

　　His suggestion is that the wounded be sent to hospital immediately.

　　他的建议是马上伤员送往医院。

　　The sight of the birds suggested a new idea for flying machines.
