　　【句型透视】(1)句中with nothing to eat为with的复合结构，在句中作状语。

　　(2)with的复合结构常在句中作状语或定语，常见形式：

　　with＋宾语＋宾语补足语

　　With the house empty, Jack felt lonely.

　　因为房子空空的，杰克感到很孤独。

　　The old man fell asleep with the lights on.

　　这个老人开着灯睡着了。

　　【关键一点】　当with后的宾语和作宾语补足语的动词之间是主谓关系时，常用v.ing形式；如果是动宾关系，则常用过去分词形式；不定式表示将来发生的动作。
