　　Should residents be allowed to keep dogs as pets?

　　In recent years，more and more residents keep dogs as pets，which can be seen in the city street.However，people have different opinions about keeping dogs as pets in the city.

　　I am against keeping dogs as pets because there are some distinct disadvantages.First of all, the barking of pet dogs will disturb the neighbors, especially when it is quiet at night.Second, there are too many pet dogs in public places, which leave too much waste and pollute the environment.Besides, some fierce dogs may frighten the people who walk in the street or some young children.

　　Although pet dogs can keep people company and bring some health benefits to their owners, I think the residents should not be allowed to keep dogs.
