下面我们一起来看形容词 brittle。虽然 brittle 和 fragile 都可以指事物“易碎的”，但通常情况下，brittle 只能用来描述“某种材质坚硬的物体是容易破裂的、脆的”，比如：glass 玻璃、bones骨头，等等。

除了 fragile 和 brittle 之外，英语中还有一个类似的形容词，同样也可以表示“脆弱”的意思，这个词就是 “vulnerable 易受伤的，脆弱的”，其常用介词搭配是 “be vulnerable to something 易受到某物的影响或伤害”。这既可以是精神上的，也可以是物质上的伤害。比如：
