JAKARTA, May 28 -- Indonesian Paralympic swimmer Jendi Pangabean has pledged to repeat his five-gold achievement at next year's ASEAN Para Games in the Philippines.
The 2020 ASEAN Para Games is scheduled to be held in Manila from January 18 to 25.
"My target is to defend the five gold medals that I secured at the 2017 ASEAN Para Games in Malaysia," he said adamantly.
Pangabean is currently at a training camp in Solo City in central Java.
The swimmer hopes the camp will help him achieve his target at the forthcoming Games.
"The Games is still a long way away, so hopefully my performances will improve," he said.
