W: Well, how about skiing up at Sky Valley Resort for a week or two?

　　M: I’d rather not. We did it last year. Remember?

　　W: And we had a really good time. Do you have any suggestions?

　　M: Um…you know, I never have any good ideas.

　　W: Ok. Here’s something different. How about going to the New Year’s Eve party in New York City? We’ve always wanted to do that.

　　M: But I don’t really like big parties. They’re always crowded.

　　W: You’re driving me crazy, Tom! All right. Let’s just stay home for two weeks!

　　M: No way! That sounds too boring! Can’t you think of anything else?

　　W: John, I know that you’re interested in all thing to do with the environment. Can you tell us something about it?

　　M: Oh, yes, I could think of one or two things that I’ve tried to do over the last couple of years. I think it’s been a couple of years since I got my bicycle out of the garage, and now I use it as much as possible. I use my car less. Last year I drove 10000 miles, and this year I’m going to do about 10% fewer miles.

　　W: Ok. Now we’re going to talk about food. I know you seldom eat meat. Is this part of “being green”, or something totally different?

　　M: Er…yes and no. Looking after animals, I think, is as important as looking after the environment. I mean, they’re part of it. So I prefer not to kill animals to eat them.
