他们要了两碗牛肉面，可是，那小青年走到柜台前，指了指菜单上的清汤面，用手势比着一碗看见面，一碗清汤面，面上来了，小青年把牛肉面推到老爷爷面前，自己却吃那碗清汤面。老爷爷把牛肉往小青年碗里夹，边夹边说：“你在外边念书苦，快多吃点！”

They asked for two bowls of beef noodles. However, the young man went to the counter and pointed to the soup noodles on the menu. He saw each other with his hand gestures. A bowl of soup noodles came up. The young man pushed the beef noodles to the old grandfather, but he ate the bowl of soup noodles. The old grandfather put the beef in the small youth bowl and said, "you are studying hard outside. Eat more quickly!"

“嗯，爸爸，你也多吃点啊！”于是老爷爷那双颤抖的手，从碗里夹起一块牛肉向嘴里送去，小青年脸上露出开心的笑脸。小青年把老爷爷夹给他的牛肉又放到爷爷的碗里。老爷爷开心地说“这家店的牛肉可真多啊！”“不对啊，牛肉屈指可数，可他怎么……”我的心中正疑惑着，抬起头，一不小心正碰上老爷爷的眼睛。他和眼中没有一丝神采。原来……就在这时，老板娘端给他们一碗拌牛肉，小青年说：“我们没点这菜啊！”“我知道，今天小店风开张，特送一碗牛肉。”小青年也不再说什么。我也会意了。不久，他们走了。老板收拾碗时，竟发现碗下压着一张2元钱。不多不少，正是拌牛肉的价钱。
