When I was a child, I once heard that my grandfather had said a beautiful legend. Liujiang River built a floating bridge! At that time, the floating bridge was the only wooden bridge on Liujiang River. Under the pontoon is a row of dozens of linked boats, which are covered with a thick wooden plate. The guardrail is simply made of very thick rope. Vehicles can't pass. And when it's windy and heavy rain, pedestrians are rare. When it's summer in Xiangling, the water is turbulent, and the pontoon has to be removed. This floating bridge is connected with my mother's childhood, leaving her footprints of growth.
At that time, my grandfather would lead my mother back and forth on the bridge every day. At first, my mother cried when she saw the bridge, and always let my grandfather carry it on his back. Slowly, over time, my mother began to learn about the bridge, but not far away, it was crying and making noise, while my grandfather always comforted me with a charity smile
