[01:04.70]Several thousand protesters gathered in the evening in Taksim Square.
[01:08.82]They planned to commemorate those killed during this month’s unrest.
[01:13.21]But the police advanced and used water cannon to disperse the protesters.
[01:17.30]The crowds scattered into nearby hotels and cafes.
[01:20.96]Some chanted against the government, others threw flowers.
[01:25.23]This was the first large protest in the center of Istanbul for five days.
[01:30.07]It’s a sign that the protest movement against the government has not finished.
