　　not only...but（also）...句型用来连接句子中的并列成分，可连接并列的主语、谓语、宾语、表语、状语或分句等。not only...but（also）...连接两个并列分句，并且not only位于句首时前一个分句应用倒装语序。

　　①You should not only listen，but（also）learn to speak.

　　你不仅应当听，还应当学着说。（并列谓语动词）

　　②Lu Xun was not only a great writer but（also）a great thinker.

　　鲁迅不仅是一个伟大的作家，而且是一个伟大的思想家。（并列表语）

　　③Not only did he say so，but he（also）did so.

　　他不仅这样说了，也这样做了。（并列分句）

　　温馨提示not only...but also...连接并列主语时，谓语必须同邻近的主语一致。

　　①Not only he but also his parents have gone to New York.

　　不但他，而且他父母也到纽约去了。

　　②Not only his parents but also he has gone to New York.

　　不但他父母，而且他也到纽约去了。
