Recently, our English teacher has recommended two excellent books to us—Everyone Is Beautiful by Caroline Scrong and Leadership Is A Choice by Austin Young. Personally, I prefer the latter one, which mainly offers some practical tips on how to conquer our fears and be a leader. And that's just what I'm dying for. For one thing, I have a special interest in leadership but have always been lacking in confidence. Hopefully this book can help me overcome my fears and gain enough confidence. For another, I plan to run for Chairman of the Student Union in the coming term. I suppose this book will get me better equipped for that.
