　　1．make sure 确定；确信；查明；弄清楚

　　Good teachers make sure that everyone in the class understands.(教材P11)优秀老师确保每位学生都能理解。

　　He went back to make sure he had locked the door.

　　他回去看看以确保门已经锁上了。

　　Schools should make sure that students have at least one hour of physical exercise at school every day.学校应保证学生在校时每天至少有一个小时的体育锻炼时间。

　　①make sure (that)．..确信；务必……

　　make sure of (doing) sth.弄清楚；查明；确信

　　②be sure of oneself有自信心

　　be sure to do sth.一定/务必要做某事

　　Will you make sure of the time and place.

　　你必须把时间和地点弄清楚。

　　You must be sure of yourself.你一定要对自己有信心。

　　Be sure to write to me and give me all his news.

　　务必写信告诉我所有关于他的消息。

　　【提示】　①make sure 后一般不跟不定式，后接of/about以及从句，是高考常考考点。

　　②make sure that...从句用一般现在时来表示将来时。

　　③be sure of/ about / that...表示主语感到“有把握”“确信”； be sure to do sth.表示说话人认为主语“一定，必然会”。
