　　【句型透视】(1)not ... but ... 意为“不是……，而是……”，在句中连接两个结构相似、功能相同的句子成分，表示转折

　　关系；这种结构否定but前面的内容，肯定but后面的内容。

　　The honey guide does not

　　actually like honey, but it does like the wax (蜂蜡) in the beehives (蜂房). (2017·新课标卷阅读B)

　　导蜜鸟事实上不喜欢蜂蜜，而是喜欢蜂房里的蜂蜡。

　　(2)not ... but ... 连接两个主语时，谓语动词的数按“就近一致”原则确定。

　　Not you but he is wanted on the phone.

　　电话里找的是他而不是你。
