伊朗学生示威者冲击英国大使馆

伊朗国有电视台称另一群抗议者冲进了德黑兰北部的另一座英国大使馆建筑。

An Iranian report said six British embassy staff had been briefly held by the protesters. British Foreign Secretary William Hague said the situation had been "confusing" and that he would not have called them "hostages."

伊朗国内报道称示威者还挟持了6名英国大使馆工作人员。不过英国外交部大臣威廉·黑格表示目前情形十分“混乱”，所以被扣使馆人员不会被称为“人质”。

"Police freed the six people working for the British embassy in Qolhak garden," Iran's Fars news agency said.

伊朗通讯社表示警方已经解救了这6名使馆工作人员。

Britain said it was outraged and warned of "serious consequences." The U.N. Security Council condemned the attacks "in the strongest terms." President Barack Obama said he was disturbed by the incident and called on Iran to hold those responsible to task.

英国政府对此事件表示愤慨，并警告称引发该事件“引发严重的后果”。联合国安理会强烈谴责袭击事件，美国总统奥巴马谴责使馆冲击事件，呼吁伊朗政府要遵守国际义务，保护外交机构与人员。

The Iranian Foreign Ministry expressed "regret for certain unacceptable behaviour by a small number of protesters in spite of efforts by the police". "The relevant authorities have been asked to take the necessary measures and look into this issue immediately," it said.
